Ugh ... lose the flashy *new* bubbles, yes?
So we've had a bit of an influx of membership as of late, while at the same time, it's been all quiet on the admin front.

And while I think it's time to celebrate all the new members, I'm a lazy old coot with not much creative ability left after November ... and my 'brain trust' has gone AWOL on me ... so I need ideas pitched my way. If contests would be appreciated, I'm sure I can scrounge up a reward or two.

Hello, my fellow werewolves! I've been noticing a lot of things being added to people's favorites within the club, and a lot of them don't have links to the original in the description.
PLEASE, IF YOU SUBMIT SOMETHING, ADD A LINK TO THE ORIGINAL VERSION IN YOUR OWN GALLERY. After all, don't you like seeing your real work get recognized, rather than the club?

Just adding a link to your account doesn't really cut it, because honestly, most of us are too lazy to look all the way through your gallery just to find something.

Hullo and welcome to the Loups-Garoux Pack. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, you have stumbled across the Lycanthrope Pack, the Werewolf Pack. This is a club for those who love werewolves. Drawings, Poetry, Stories, and werewolf movie, book, show or play reviews are quite welcome. So long as you like werewolves, you're welcome to join the Pack.

Join up and you'll get posting access. Remember to add your name or avatar or a link to your username/deviation when you post, so we know who you are and can give you personal recognition. Also, make sure that you log in and check the inbox for comments and added favorites! The admin will not delete messages on your deviations for you, so try to keep the pack inbox from flooding over with old messages.

I have been seeing notes with links asking if we can post a picture to the gallery. When you join, you do this yourself. If you don't know how, let us know and we'll tell you.

- We have yet another affiliate. The war has been going on for hundreds of years, and now there has finally been a shift of power. What new power will rise up in Lucien's place? Welcome to a club devoted to the universe set out in the movie (and book) Underworld. You don't want the vampires to win do you!? Check out =underworld.

We finally have a second contest entry, and that means that there will be an end to the contest. However, there's still time to get an entry done yourself. I know some of you have said you wanted to get an entry in, and you have until November 1st. Then, we'll take the contest to a vote.

Club contest!
You've all seen the movies. You've all seen the concept art. Now, we just want you to put it all together. Design a new breed of werewolf that you can truly be proud of. Whatever you want. Then, draw us a picture (or write a description) and send it in. Bonus points for creativity and originality.

- It's been obvious for a while that we have more watchers than members of the pack. As stated above, +watches without a note will be ignored. So, if you are a watcher who wanted to join the pack but do not have your username below in the plack listing, please click here and send us a note to join.
- Five days to go for the pack contest! The suggestion for extending the deadline is still pending, so all who wanted to enter by the current deadline should be finishing soon.

Alright, so you've heard us babble about a contest for ages, right? Well it's finally here! Just note us a link to your entry, and we'll queue them up right here in the journal. Then, when the deadline is over, we'll let you all vote as a pack like we did with the ID and avatar. The winner gets their work and name displayed in the journal for whole year.
